Bibinje – Get most of both words

Apartment house Lela 2 is located at a great central spot, perfect for exploring around. House is just 5 minutes away from beach, old town, summer center with promenade, shops and restaurants. Convenient small market is at ground floor for your everyday fresh product and warm bread.

Bibinje (4.000 inhabitants) is situated southeast from the historical city Zadar, between the Adriatic tourist road and the sea, having a four kilometer coast with beaches and pathways. The name Bibano/Bibanum dates as far back as the 11th century. The population always depended on agriculture and cattle breeding, followed by the fishing trade in more recent times. Tourism dates back to the middle of the 20th century.

Bibinje has a great location, it is just 10 minutes away from Zadar, highway and Zadar airport. This central location in Zadar county allows you to be very active, because “everything is close” to you, whether you want to visit Zadar, National park Kornati (boat goes from Bibinje) or maybe cities around Zadar like Biograd or Nin. Zadar is often very crowded during summer season and it is almost impossible to experience real Dalmatia, culture, people and everyday life behind that “tourist curtain” . Bibinje is (still) different story, here you can experience all of that, immerse yourself in, and still you are just 10 minutes away from ancient city of Zadar. So, you get most of both words – small, quiet and traditional town and bigger, more dynamic, ancient city of Zadar

Zadar – blend of rich heritage and modern infrastructure

Zadar is an ancient Mediterranean port city. The old town, surrounded by walls and towers on a peninsula, with a new, urban part is connected by a bridge, a symbol of the city. The Zadar peninsula still preserves very old network of narrow and charming city streets, as well as a Roman forum dating back to the first century AD. Symbol of the city is the church of St. Donatus from the 9th century built on the remains of the ancient Roman Forum. Initially dedicated to the Holy Trinity, in 15th century started bearing name after the Zadar bishop Donatus. But don’t forget to visit its two unique attractions – the sound-and-light spectacle of the Sea Organ and the Sun Salutation – need to be seen and heard to be believed.
Zadar is a city where huge spaces are left for pedestrians. Using your guidebook, your walk along the cobblestone streets of the city will become a walk through history, and also an experience of the contemporary life of the city.
Zadar is just 10 minutes away from Lela 1 house.
